All archives represent assets with a commercial value to an organisation. However, some (such as contracts and leases) are absolutely vital to business continuity, and others are so extremely confidential that only a double-locked, highly-secure vault will provide adequate protection. It is for these documents that Recordsmanagement offers our specialist, customisable DocuVault solution.
- 12” insulated, corten steel walls to maximise fire protection
- Temperature and humidity controlled units to meet BS 5454 requirements (the British Standard for the Archival of Records)
- Access to vault contents only through two, locked, substantial butcher’s doors
- Protected by RedCare fire and intruder alarm systems – the most secure form of alarm monitoring available
- Certified by Lloyds
This service is available at two levels:
- Gold Solution – a DocuVault is shared by several customers, with only Ministry of Defence vetted Recordsmanagement staff having access (for retrieval purposes).
- Platinum Solution – a dedicated, customisable DocuVault for your organisation. The retrieval requirement for the vault can either be managed by Recordsmanagement’s Ministry of Defence vetted staff, or – for the highest possible protection – we will simply store the vault, but will have no access to its contents. To ensure that there is no unauthorised access by your own employees, we will give you the keys but not the alarm code. Without the production of Photo ID from a staff member specified by you as being authorised for access, we will not unset the alarm.
